Dr Sameer Viswanathan, completed his medical education in Sydney University and has worked as a resident and a registrar in both NSW and Qld.

He completed his Orthopaedic Training in Queensland and was admitted to the RACS in 2007. He worked as a Staff Specialist in Redcliffe Hospital, Qld in 2008. In 2009 he underwent Sub Specialty Training in hip and knee replacements with Associate Professor John Ireland at Fairfield Hospital. Subsequent to that Sameer completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Royal North Shore Hospital with Drs Wines and Grujic. In 2009 Sameer worked as a locum Visiting Medical Officer at Liverpool Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital.

Sameer has recently been accredited as a VMO at Macquarie Private Hospital where he will be providing consultative and surgical services for conditions of the foot, ankle and knee. He is also an accreditted VMO at Campbelltown Public Hospital.
